Horses can be intimidating for dogs, causing them to act with aggression, cause stress and anxiety or evoke a need to chase, which potentially could put the dog, owner, rider, horse and others around in danger. Gradual exposure to horses allows dogs to get used to their presence, teaching them to remain calm and see horses as non-threatening.

Hey, I’m Jasmine — and this all started because of my beautiful rescue dog called Honey.
Honey came into my life at the perfect time. In truth, she rescued me as much as I rescued her. She’s changed my life for the better — getting me outside, away from screens, and into the magical forests I’d been too busy to notice. She’s helped my mental health, given me freedom, and shown me the unconditional love only animals can give.
Caring for Honey made me realise something simple but powerful: every pet deserves the same love, patience, gentleness and freedom she’s given me and i've given to her. That’s why I created In Loving Hands — to offer pets safe, loving, and reliable care, and to give owners peace of mind knowing their companions are truly looked after.
Today, I’m a qualified dog walker and pet minder with pet first aid and CPR training, fully insured and DBS checked. But more importantly, I’m someone who has always had animals growing up and I treat every animal with the same devotion I give to Honey.
Because to me, they’re not just pets — they’re family.
